THE LANGUAGE OF ART: If Lines Could Talk

Monday, January 304:00—5:00 PMCommunity roomPutnam Valley Library30 Oscawana Lake RD, Putnam Valley , NY, 10579

Wavy, smooth, jagged, agitated, serene, or angry? Learn the language of line exemplified in Pollock’s drip painting and other modern artworks. Then map your emotions with lines and drawing to communicate how you feel.

We will have Education Coordinator, Joyce Raimondo from the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center join us via zoom while we gather in the community room to learn and create!

The library will provide basic supplies for anyone in person. Anyone joining via zoom will need their own drawing supplies on hand.
